REEDACTED is a Manchester-based reed quintet, made up of undergraduate students at the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM). Founded in 2025, this unique ensemble is comprised of five reeded woodwind instruments that showcase the distinct blend that a reed quintet provides. 

Playing a breadth of music arrangements from Strauss to Nina Simone, Tchaikovsky to Toploader, REEDACTED are keen to continue growing further as an ensemble. They have received coaching from a range of professional musicians and ensembles including the MAAT Saxophone Quartet, Naomi Sullivan (Laefer Quartet), Timothy Barber (BBC Philharmonic) Sergio Castelló López (Hallé). 

They are finalists of the 2026 RNCM Fewkes Chamber Prize and look forward to a variety of opportunities ahead of them. Above all, REEDACTED love the joy and energy of chamber music and bringing that joy into all that they do.
