We know that you love our Greeting Cards because you buy lots of them. Now for something different. Artist and Friend of the Whitworth, Christine Tomkinson, has designed this beautiful tea towel.
A Visit to the Whitworth
The original lino cut design is "A Visit to the Whitworth." It contains elements of the Whitworth’s art and architecture - Anya Gallacio’s Tree, which you can see through the window of the Whitworth Cafe, the distinctive porch at the Gallery’s Oxford Road entrance, the staircase to the Mezzanine Floor and David Batchelor’s Plato’s Disc, which hangs over the staircase between the Upper and Lower Promenades. Of course there is even a visitor - because what would the Whitworth be without them?
The tea towel makes a perfect gift as it comes folded in a specially designed wrapper and fits into an A5 envelope for postage. It’s also 100% cotton.
The tea towel is for sale now in the Gallery shop for £12, and at our Friends of the Whitworth stalls.
You can also order them on- line.
To order on line, please contact us on either [email protected] or [email protected]
You can pay by Bacs directly into our account or by cheque and when you contact us by email, we will give you our bank details or our treasurer's address for where to send the cheque. Once you have paid our treasurer, we will send you the tea towel(s).
Support the Gallery, buy one as a gift - you will also want to buy one for yourself!
