It’s a joy to spend time here, a place for some quiet contemplation and the perfect place to meet with friends to talk about art or just to catch up.
A place to think, read, meet, talk...
There’s more, of course. You’ll find coffee, tea and the most delicious cakes on offer, along with soups, sandwiches and salads to tempt you back for lunch. And – if you are a Friend of the Whitworth - there is a 10% discount on all your purchases. (Friends also receive a 20% discount in the gallery shop!)

We love the Café so much we organise events here, including our monthly Look Club Suppers and our annual Pilkington Dinner.
