FoW Christmas Cards-Buy them Now!

Ready or not, Christmas is coming!

It’s that time of year when our thoughts turn to Christmas. Here at the FoW we have held back from publicising out lovely Christmas Cards as long as possible, even though they were ready in July! We don’t want you to miss out, though, and, since all proceeds from the sale will go to the Gallery (artist Anne Mackinnon has generously freely donated her work on the cards), we are sure you will want to know about this new opportunity to support the Whitworth.

We have three designs, each based on a water-colour by Anne. The cards are sold in packs of 10 at £6 per pack. The packs contain a single design. The three designs are “Winter Fun”, “Christmas Roses” and “Holly and Ivy”. Each card measures 6 inches by 6 inches and is blank for your personal message and the FoW logo and details of our role in supporting the Gallery are on the reverse. We charge £2.00 for postage and packing, irrespective of the number of packs. You can see photos of the cards below.

Unfortunately, the FoW at the moment have no facility for selling merchandise online-something we hope to rectify at some stage. We can, however, post cards to you if you tell us what you want. Simply send a cheque for the appropriate amount, together with details of your order, to the following:

We also sell our Christmas cards-along with our other lovely merchandise such as greetings cards, scarves and T shirts-at our stalls in the Gallery. The next stalls are on on the Thursday 4th October from 10.00 to 2.00,  Sunday 7th October from 2.00 to 4.30 and at the Pilkington Lecture in the Gallery on October 25th. All proceeds from merchandise go to support the Whitworth Gallery, as does your subscription.
