Ángela Zamorano Tardón cello
Angela started to play cello at the age of 8 at the Joaquin Turina conservatoire in Madrid. In 2012 she moved to Manchester to continue her studies at the Royal Northern College of Music and as a keen chamber musician, she is a founding member of the Lazuli Piano Trio formed in September 2012. In 2014 they were finalists in the RNCM Weil prize and in June 2015 they were awarded the Musicales prize.
Sam Rodwell guitar
Sam has been playing the classical guitar since the age of 8 and attained his ATCL Diploma with a Distinction in 2010. He is currently in the fourth year of his music degree at the RNCM - in his very first term at the RNCM he won the string department’s Salon Prize, making him the first guitarist to win this competition for nearly 30 years. He has performed in many festivals and concerts both in the UK and in Germany.
